Facebook Pixel: Deploy and Conquer – Sunday, October 1 at 1:30 pm
As the Facebook algorithm continuously changes, proper pixel deployment becomes increasingly important. Users, marketers, and developers alike must consider placement, triggering events, and what to ultimately do with the data. This talk will consider some best practices, choosing events, and how to leverage custom audiences using pixel data. It will also review inherent flaws in pixel deployment and how to incorporate data trends into a cohesive marketing plan.
Bio:
S. David has been a marketing-communications consultant for over a decade. He specializes in organizational communications, multicultural awareness, digital marketing tactics, and business modeling. As a member of the San Antonio Small Business Development Center, he has trained local entrepreneurs in Facebook Advertising, Special Event Management, and other business topics. He is a long-time staffer and board member of San Japan, San Antonio’s Japanese Culture and anime convention. He is also a field organizing instructor for various grassroots organizations across Texas: specializing in voter activation and capacity building. Mostly, he is just a nerd. Talk to him about anime.
